Modhaus is a small independent design studio in Austin, Texas, founded by Aaron von Kreisler. Its Upright stand delivers 25W Qi2 wireless charging from a base hand-cast in architectural concrete and topped with solid hardwood; pre-orders are open.
Modhaus builds desk accessories from concrete and solid hardwood, with bases hand-cast into custom molds from ultra-high-performance concrete. The Upright wireless charging stand, $98 on shopmodhaus.com, pairs that concrete base with Qi2.2 charging and magnetic alignment, and the weight keeps it from sliding when you tap your phone. A 45W charging adapter is sold separately. Modhaus suits people who want desk pieces with real weight and texture, and it shows up in Previewer desk-gift Stories.
