Ciccio's Olives started with a wedding: Pino Pugliano, who came to the US as a 20-year-old immigrant, and Laura served his family's olive oil as reception favors, then launched the brand after seeing the "mixed oils of obscure origin" on American shelves. The family has pressed single-origin Carolea olives in Calabria, Italy, for three generations and sells the oil unfiltered, "direct from the grove — no middlemen, no blending." The shop also carries Martina's Vinegar aged balsamic and Italian olivewood utensils and pottery.
